About The Role

Reporting to the VP of Sustainability & ESG, the Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote our solar solutions and services. This role requires a proactive and dynamic individual who excels in turning ideas into action. The Marketing Manager should have strong executional and leadership skills, capable of managing a team, collaborating across departments, and driving initiatives that contribute to the growth and success of our solar energy business. 

This position offers the flexibility to be based in either Boston, Massachusetts or Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to and lead the execution of a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with overall business goals and objectives. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer behaviors, and regulatory changes in the solar energy market. Use data-driven insights to adapt and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Content Development: Oversee and manage the development and implementation of sales and marketing content and collateral including written and visual assets (infographics, blog posts, social media, sales presentations, videos)
  • Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the brand image in relevant industry markets. Develop and enforce brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual representation.
  • Campaign Development and Execution: Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, events, and more. Ensure campaigns effectively communicate the value proposition of our solar solutions. Develop and manage email campaigns from concept to reporting using MS Dynamics Customer Insights
  • Event Planning: Plan and coordinate industry events, trade shows, and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. Represent the company at relevant conferences and networking opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, policy, and other cross-functional teams and customers to align marketing strategies with business objectives. Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all customer touchpoints. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, ensuring the team is aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, preferably within the solar energy or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles and tactics, including digital marketing and traditional marketing channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
